KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Knowledge Management (KM) is an exceptionally broad discipline, far more comprehensive than most imagine. It encompasses people, processes, technology, leadership and learning. Many KM methodologies have emerged over the last few years.

Some are excellent tactical methodologies that use proven methods to create a solution to a particular problem, such as how to build and sustain institutional and intellectual assets, or how to install a portal to promote knowledge sharing or how to tell stories to foster change. However, many of these methodologies are lacking from a strategic standpoint because they do not recognize that KM is an enterprise wide initiative.

, with extensive information sector experience, can provide government and industry with the technologies to address a specific KM problem within an overall enterprise strategy thereby allowing KM to function as a natural extension of process automation, employee skill set improvement, transparency enhancement, and e-government and e-commerce strategies.
